July 4th is just a few weeks away and the schedule is jam packed with fun ways to celebrate throughout the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Region! We've compiled a list of events below to help make sure you get the most from your visit to Chautauqua County in Western New York.
Fireworks & More
Cherry Creek’s annual Independence Day Celebration is Saturday, June 28th. The celebration will feature a parade, craft and food vendors, cruise-in, chicken BBQ, music, fireworks, and more. Parade begins at 3 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m.
The Jamestown Tarp Skunks baseball team plays the Niagara Ironbacks on Thursday, July 3rd at 6:30 p.m. It’s Fireworks Night presented by Jamestown Mattress Co.
The annual Silver Creek Fourth of July Fireworks and Music event is Wednesday, July 3. 2nd Time Around Band plays from 6-9 p.m. at Borrello Park on Front Street. Fireworks Night to follow.
The Dunkirk Fourth of July Celebration will be held July 3-5 with live music, vendors, and more. Fireworks display on July 4 at 9:30 p.m.
Fourth of July in Findley Lake features all-day fun for the whole family on July 4th with a duck race, boat parade, flare lighting and fireworks. Flares will be put around the lake and lit before the fireworks at 10 p.m.
Bemus Point’s 4th of July Fireworks Show will take place on July 4th at 10 p.m. from barges in Bemus Bay. The display will be visible from the Village Park, Lakeside Drive, and all around the Village of Bemus Point.
The Lakewood July 4th Summerfest and Fireworks starts off with the annual Firecracker Run. Vendors will be open on Chautauqua Avenue with live music in the park from 6-10 p.m. followed by the fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Mayville's 4th of July Celebration will kick off with their grand parade down Route 394 starting at 10 a.m. followed by a petting zoo, live music, food, games and more at Lakeside Park. Their annual fireworks display will take place at 10 p.m.
Flares And Boats Around Cassadaga Lakes will light up Cassadaga Lakes on July 4th at 9:30 p.m.

Chautauqua Institution’s expansive event schedule includes the Children's School 4th of July Parade at Chautauqua Institution on July 4th at 10:00 a.m. Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra’s Independence Day Celebration on July 4 at 8 p.m. in the Amphitheater.
Head to Southern Tier Brewing Co's The Empty Pint from July 1st- July 6th for 6 days of live music during the 4th of July Live Music Series

For over 30 years, The Great Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman, New York, has become a tradition for many as an event to celebrate music, nature and the spirit of self-expression. From July 4-6, The Heron draws thousands of fans from across the U.S. and features Americana music at a magical campground in the hills of western NY.
Independence Day at Sunset Bay Beach Club starts with a patio party from 1-6 p.m. with DJ Felony and followed by an Independence Day Celebration from 8-10 p.m.
Spend 4th of July at the races! Stateline Speedway is hosting 4th of July Frenzy featuring All Star Circuit of Champion Sprint Cars. Head to the track early for BBQ and live music. Fireworks to follow! The fun continues on July 5th with Super Late Model races.
