Venues in Chautauqua County NY for Group Events
Discover Where Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary
From wineries to museums, a historical amusement park to a two-level steamboat, the Chautauqua-Lake Erie region of western New York has a selection of unique venues for your groups to explore. Along with the Grape Discovery Center, many of the wineries along our extensive wine trail will host your group for events, receptions, tastings, and tours.
Wineries, Museums, and Historic Sites
Consider one of our many museums when looking for space for your meeting, reception, or special event such as the Roger Tory Peterson Institute which boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor space. The Robert H. Jackson Center, which features a 180-seat auditorium and banquet space, is conveniently located in downtown Jamestown. Make your event, meeting, or party unforgettable by having it in the recreated set of the Tropicana Room at the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, the most well-known nightclub in television history!
Options that are unique to Chautauqua County include Midway State Park which is one of the oldest continually operating amusement parks in the United States originally opened in 1898, the Chautauqua Belle steamboat that can accommodate up to 120 passengers, and the National Comedy Center which was named “Best New Museum” in the country in 2020 by USA Today.
