Visitors can also learn about local history at the Fenton History Center, enjoy ice skating and ice bumper cars at the Northwest Arena and explore the Audubon Community Nature Center which blends educational wildlife exhibits and accessible trails.
Grape & Wine Country
Vineyards and wineries are abundant in Chautauqua & Lake Erie NY thanks to favorable grape growing conditions. These wineries are located on the coast of Lake Erie along a 50 mile trail and are collectively known as Lake Erie Wine Country. They are open throughout the year and offer wine tastings, food and wine pairings, events and more. The region is also the original home of Welch's grape juice. Today, visitors can explore the history of the local grape growing heritage at the Grape Discovery Center just outside the village of Westfield.
