Boating, Kayaking and Fishing on Findley Lake
The man-made Findley Lake provides ample opportunities for watersports, including boating, kayaking, and fishing. Two boat launches – one a New York State DEC hand launch, the other for trailered boats – offer access to the water. The trailered launch, operated by Findley Lake Association, is open to the public on weekdays only. Find both launches on the northern tip of the lake.
Findley Lake features an accessible fishing platform, boat mooring dock, and a separate kayak launching platform. Reel in a variety of panfish and sportfish, including large and smallmouth bass, muskellunge, northern pike, and walleye.
Shopping, Dining & Festival Fun in Findley Lake
Enjoy a relaxing lakefront stroll of the Findley Lake shops, such as Our Own Candle Company, the Secret Cubby, and Findley Lake Fashions, to name a few. Grab a bite to eat at Alexander’s on the Lake, Twin Docks Gourmet Food & Deli, or just outside of town at Pine Junction restaurant and event center.
See Findley Lake come alive during annual events, headlined by the Harvest Festival on Labor Day weekend, Independence Day festivities, a Wine Walk on Mother’s Day weekend, and a Beer Crawl on Father’s Day weekend.
