Young Washington at Fredonia Opera House Cinema Series

The Cinema Series continues at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center with screenings of “Young Washington” on Sat., Aug. 15, and Tues., Aug. 18, at 7:30 p.m. The Tuesday night screening will be shown with captions visible on the screen.

Before he was the Father of a Nation, he was a soldier fighting to survive. A single misstep thrusts young George Washington into the center of a global conflict, testing his honor, loyalty, and courage. As alliances crumble and the frontier erupts into war, he must confront not only his enemies but the man he’s becoming. This is the untold story of Young Washington.

Tickets are available at the door for $7 (adults), $6.50 (seniors & Opera House members) and $5 (students) the night of each screening. The Opera House is equipped with assistive listening headsets for the hearing-impaired. Simply request one from any usher or staff member.
