Join Everwild Land Trust and RTPI as we host a program on the Owls of Western New York. Guest speakers will be Dr. John H. Rappole, an emeritus research scientist at the Smithsonian Institution’s Conservation Biology Institute, and Jim Berry, retired President of RTPI.

The first part of the program will be an illustrated lecture on our native Owls, supplemented with audio recordings, then we’ll head out into the night and listen for owls that breed in adjacent forest land.

Registration is limited for this free event, so contact RTPI at (716) 665-2463 to reserve your spot.

Long pants and appropriate footwear are recommended. A flashlight or headlamp with a red lens is helpful. Don’t forget the bug spray!
