Feather your hair, strap on your earth shoes, and check out the Dunkirk Historical Museum at their new display, "That '70s Exhibit"! The Grand Opening is this Saturday, August 1st from 10am-2pm. The exhibit explores the ups and downs of one of the most exciting and tumultuous decades in the history of Dunkirk, NY. Special features include the music of Three Dog Night, the film career of H. B. “Toby” Halicki, the Bicentennial parade, the creation of Bicentennial Park in 1976, the Blizzard of ‘77, the career of Mark Brazill, 1970s fashion, how locals spent leisure time throughout the decade in Dunkirk, and much more!

Free admission through the end of the year, the museum is open MWF 9a-12p, W 4:30-6, First Saturdays 10a-2p. Special hours by chance or appointment, check out their facebook page at facebook.com/dunkirkhistoricalmuseum/ or website at dunkirkhistoricalmuseum.org
