She Is Safe of Chautauqua County Benefit Dinner & Concert with Rebecca Magnuson and South 79
95 W Lake Rd, Mayville, NY 14757
Singer‑songwriter, composer, and She Sings® creator Rebecca Magnuson will headline a July 11 dinner‑concert fundraiser supporting She Is Safe of Chautauqua County, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women overcome abuse and rebuild their lives. The event will take place at 95 W. Lake Road in Mayville, with doors opening at 5 p.m.
Magnuson will perform at 6 p.m., followed by a concert from nationally acclaimed bluegrass band South 79 at 8 p.m.
A former child prodigy turned award‑winning entrepreneur, Magnuson is known for transforming profound personal adversity into art that empowers survivors. Her one‑woman musical, She Sings®: A Soaring Musical, sold out theaters from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles and Off‑Broadway in New York City. Her five‑part documentary series, She Sings®: Surviving the Narcissist, amplifies the voices of women who have escaped abuse and reclaimed their lives.
Magnuson’s work is rooted in resilience, storytelling, and community building. After studying under world‑renowned concert pianist Ozan Marsh and earning scholarships from the Chautauqua Women’s Club, she built a multifaceted career spanning music, theater, entrepreneurship, and advocacy. She later founded She Is Safe of CHQ County, a community hub dedicated to supporting women in crisis through music, resources, and connection.
All proceeds support our mission to provide emergency funding, critical resources, and support for women escaping violence.
