Across varying habitats, a wide variety of fungi, molds, and mushrooms are outside quietly doing some very important jobs. Join Audubon to learn more about what a fungus really is, what they need to survive, and how these amazingly diverse organisms can benefit plants, animals, and people alike.

After a short indoor lesson exploring different kinds of fungi and discovering the animals and plants they interact with, head outside to see how many different colors, shapes, and sizes of fungi are around.

A snack is provided after the hike and a craft is offered if there is time.
