Hearsemania

Hearsemania travels to Western NY for 2026 featuring three days of activities (June 12–14) beginning with the Friday, June 12, Historic Cemetery Tours in Westfield and Pomfret NY.

Hearsemania features a number of antique cars, including funeral-related vehicles such as hearses, flower cars, and ambulances.

Pomfret's event will begin at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 12, with the car & craft show at the West Barker Common in Fredonia (Park and Church Streets). The CHQ Transit trolleys will transport riders from the car show, for a guided trolley tour of the Forest Hill Cemetery. Resting places of many of our community's founders will be noted, and historical facts about each person and the community will be shared along with information about Pomfret's neighboring Pioneer Cemetery. The tour will include a stop and look at the Forest Hill Cemetery's historic chapel building where a photographer will be offering the chance to have a tin type photo taken before returning to the car and craft show. Tours will be start approximately every 15 minutes, with the last tour ending at 4:30 pm.

Saturday, June 13, Hearsemania will participate in the Lily Dale NY Funfest Celebration.

Webb's Resort in Mayville NY will host the “Lucky Stiffs Post Mortem Ball” Saturday evening.

Sunday, June 14, will begin with a 9am procession leaving Webb's Resort and traveling the streets of Mayville before entering the Hearsemania showfield of Lakeside Park, Mayville, NY. There will be judging and awards for Professional Cars, Oddity and Curiosity vendors, 50/50, Food Trucks, DJ, Casket Basket Raffle and more.
