Save the date for the Findley Lake 4th of July celebration, featuring the Duck Race, Fire Company Chicken Bake Sale, Boat Parade, Fireworks. The Findley Lake Great Duck Race will be held July 4 at 12:30 p.m. at the Waterwheel Overlook.  Flares are lit around the lake at 9:30 p.m., and fireworks begin at 10.

A beautiful tradition that lights Cassadaga Lakes in celebration of Independence Day. Flares may be purchased for $2.00 each, from CLA members. Please light them at 9:30 P.M. when the fire hall whistle sounds. For the best view of the flares and enjoyment of land watchers, adorn your floating vessel with party lights and join us on the lake for our Night-Light Float!

Celebrate July 4th with Light the Lake, the CLA’s annual tradition of illuminating the shoreline with red safety flares at 10:00 p.m. Join together to create a glowing ring of light around Chautauqua Lake. Flares support the CLA’s lake-care efforts and are available at local retailers. It’s a beautiful and uniquely Chautauqua way to mark Independence Day.
