Grab a suit and towel, perhaps a beach chair or bucket and shovel, and head to any number of beaches with parks, playgrounds, rolling waves or shallow water. Spend the day on Lake Erie with sandy beaches and volleyball at Sunset Bay, cycling at Dunkirk Harbor and rocky cliffs at the Lake Erie State Park. Watch the sunset from a driftwood perch at Barcelona. Chautauqua, Findley and Cassadaga Lakes offer calmer waters for little tykes and village settings for quick diversions.
