January "Blues"

Let’s embrace the January blues with a day of Indigo dyeing. Join Deb to experiment with indigo techniques from around the world including folded and stitched shibori, discharge dyeing and mud resist. We will supply basic cotton yardage for your experiments, but participants are welcome to bring their own fabrics to try. As we work we will talk about the rich history of this beautiful blue! Bring a packed lunch, we will supply coffee, tea and snacks. Participants will also want an apron to protect their clothing and a pair of long gloves for the dye pots.
