Allen Park in the City of Jamestown is a 35-acre space perfect for four seasons of family fun. Host an event with the available picnic pavilions, kitchen, charcoal grills, and restrooms. Children can stretch their legs on multiple playgrounds. Allen Park also has soccer fields, a youth baseball field, and a basketball court. On hot days, children can cool off at Allen Park's new splashpad.
Catch the Jamestown Municipal Band at the Goranson Bandshell in Allen Park on Wednesday nights during the summer. During the winter, children use the hill surrounding the bandshell for sledding.
The large park contains walking paths through wooded glens as well as a short sidewalk loop near the splash pad and playground. Those venturing onto the wooded paths can find the former Allen Park Swimming Pool as well as an informational sign on its history.
Parking lots are located by the playgrounds and soccer fields. Open all year.
